Hello and welcome to Fall! It is such my favorite time of the year to experiment and try new things with my photography! The colors become so muted, yet inviting – who wouldn’t want to capture that on camera, right?!
One of my photo bucket list items is to explore and photograph a ghost town or a “dying town”. Sailor Springs, Illinois is a “dying town” that has been on my radar for a couple of years when a mutual friend posted it on FaceBook. Normally, I would travel thousands of miles to capture travel images. Yet, I knew I wanted to challenge myself to photograph something local.
